Shawn not appearing at the 900th episode of raw
It has just come to my attention, that Shawn will not be attending the 900th episode of RAW tomorrow night. Apparently Shawn announced he wouldn’t be attending the anniversary of Raw, on his Twitter account. He said that he has business somewhere else, over the next couple of days.
As many of you know Shawn kicked of the very first episode of RAW, and saw him enter the historic show as the intercontinental champion. His first ever match was against Max Moon, who he defeated. If Shawn was actively wrestling still, he and the Undertaker would be the only two wrestlers actively wrestling that was on the first ever episode of Raw. But unfortunately Shawn retired, so Undertaker is the only active wrestler on the WWE roster that appeared on the first episode of Raw.
On a different note, I also read that apparently Shawn has been asked to star in two movies. Unfortunately he has declined these offers, based on the role in which he would play. The roles offered to him, he felt were too serious for him. Shawn has mentioned that he would like to star in films, if it was comedy/silly role.
It’s a shame that he turned down these roles, but if he doesn’t feel comfortable or doesn’t want to do it then you can’t expect him to. Personally I think he would be good doing both serious and comedy roles. I would love to see him in a western type film, mainly because of the cowboy role he portrayed just before he retired from wrestling.
We just need to keep our eyes open on the red carpet, for a taste of good ol’ Sweet Chin Music. I will keep you all informed if I hear, any more solid news on a possible movie career for Shawn.
