Shawn Michaels, Triple H and The Undertaker on Monday Night Raw 28 March 2011

Well it’s the final week before Wrestlemania, and the time for awesome video packages are over. I said for weeks that we would see a certain someone before WrestleMania, and even though I was beginning to doubt myself I was actually right. The Undertaker comes out once again to “Ain’t no grave…” by Johnny Cash and as soon as the Phenom enters the ring Triple H’s music hits. Before Triple H can enter the ring, Taker takes it upon himself to play a little mind game by cutting off The Game’s music and clouds the arena in darkness. A little irony of what goes around comes around, 2-21-11 sound familiar anyone? The lights come back on and Triple H looking pretty irate came into the ring, getting nose to nose with the Deadman. Now we couldn’t have a WrestleMania week without Mr. WrestleMania himself can we? After a brief stare down between ‘Taker and Triple H, came the shock of the night and the moment we all have been waiting for as HBK’s music hit. Shawn came to the ring with his usual sexy boy routine and got in the ring between the two legends. He grabbed the mic and apologised interruption but at the same time declaring there was absolutely no way he was ever going to miss this. He informed them that this would be the biggest match of their careers, guarantees that after Wrestlemania 27 neither man will ever be the same again. However Shawn brought up an interesting question, asking Triple H outright “What in the world makes you think, that you could do what I couldn’t?”. The Game retaliated telling Shawn he got soft, and cared more about being Mr. WrestleMania and the Showstopper than breaking the Streak. Triple H stated that he was focused on winning and breaking the streak, turning his sights back to the Phenom.

Triple H then went on to praise The Undertaker, saying that 16 years he watched the Deadman go out injured and still go out to the ring and compete. He declared that if he was going to model himself on anybody, it would be the Undertaker. He said that he has learned to respect him more and more each day, or at least as much as Shawn. He then went on to talk about the pact that he had made with Shawn, that if one of us didn’t recognize it’s time to quit, we’d tell the other one it’s time. Triple H also went on to say that if the other couldn’t accept the end, they would end it for them. He declared the reason he cam back was for one thing, stand in front of The Undertaker face to face out of respect and tell him that “its time!”. Triple H also said that after Wrestlemania, the Streak and The Undertaker with all do respects will Rest in Peace.

A furious Undertaker snatched the mic from Shawn, and responded by telling Triple H that if there was ever a time he felt someone should put him down, he’d want that person to be Triple H. Ouch that gotta hurt Shawn! But it ain’t that time yet. The Phenom went on to say, that he knows the Game is going to kill himself trying but in the end the Streak will still be alive. He told Triple H that if he weren’t going to take his word for it, then ask the man he destroyed at last years WrestleMania. ‘Taker acknowledeged the fact, that Shawn gave him the two greatest WrestleMania matches of his career but still couldn’t end the streak. He then turned his sights to the Showstopper and told him, he was a humbled defeated man who will enter the Hall of Fame with nothing but regrets and a career he ended. Shawn now angered by the Deadman’s comments went to Superkick ‘Taker but got caught, the Deadman was seconds away from chokeslaming Shawn until Triple H got involved. Triple H asked Shawn to tell Taker why he was going to defeat him at Wrestlemania. Unable to answer, Shawn left the ring without a word. He looked back and told Triple H, “You can’t win. I’m sorry.”

To end, ‘Taker tipped his hat and smirked at Triple H, and left the ring. Is this a sign for whats to come at WrestleMania? Only time will tell. Overall this was a fantastic segment to prepare us for Wrestlemania. And how will Shawn react to the outcome, of this heated rivalry?

I know Becky, it does pain me to say but ‘Taker owned both Triple H and Shawn. It was good to see Shawn, and it was obvious all of them in Chicago were excited.
