Apologies for the delay, but as they say better late than never. Well the night was set, the atmosphere booming and chants of “One More Match” were in the air. Yes that’s right Shawn made his much anticipated appearance on Raw, and the crowd blew the roof of the arena. Welcomed by many of his fans, Shawn came out and gave his usual warm greeting. He then got down to business, and the main reason he was on RAW. In what I felt was an epic and very intense promo, Shawn wanted Triple H to admit to joking about rejecting Undertaker’s WrestleMania challenge.
Triple H eventually came out to greet his long time friend, admitting that he was not joking and that he does not want to be the one to put Taker to rest. He went on to say that even though he lost, Taker only won the battle while Triple H won the war. He mentioned that he, Taker and even Shawn was the end of an era and that Taker was the only thing keeping that era alive. He began to talk business, much like his father-in-law and predecessor Vince McMahon stating that the Undertaker is now a brand instead of an opponent. He went on to say that is would be bad for business, if he were to take the Undertaker out.
Angry with his friends answer, Shawn branded Triple H as a coward. He stated that since he married that chick (Stephanie), he’s become one of them and that the suit has taken over. Shawn pushes and pushes Triple H, demanding him to look him in the eye and say that he doesn’t want to end the famous streak. Eventually Triple H answers with a very solid “NO”, to which Shawn leaves the ring while brushing past his best friend. Shawn gave Triple H one last look of disappointment before leaving the stage.
