Once I do I will post it as soon as possible. With that being said, all the rumours and speculations have finally come together into reality. As mentioned above It was announced by John Laurinaitis (no I’m not going to mention his long winded job title), that Shawn will guest star on next weeks Raw. And as mentioned he will be attending to address the continued situation between, long time friend and D-X co-founder Triple H and The Undertaker.

Source: PWInsider.com

Triple H is on the phone and he is talking about how there is going to be a decision tomorrow. John Laurinaitis enters and he reminds Hunter that he is still the interim General Manager of Raw. He calls everyone on the board good people. John mentions that Shawn Michaels will be here next week because he suggested it to the Board of Directors.

Shawn Michaels was confirmed for next week’s Raw episode. WWE advertised that Michaels will speak to Triple H about his current program with The Undertaker.

So if you live in the Salt Lake City area, or near by why not make an appearance and meet Shawn. For $20 you seriously can’t ask for much better than that :)

Thanks to Amanda for sending the following news, on a possible Shawn appearance on Raw a week on Monday.

Source: WhatCulture.com

According to WWELiveTour.com, ‘The Heartbreak Kid’ Shawn Michaels is due to appear on the February 13th RAW SuperShow from Valley View Casino in San Diego, California.

His return will mark his first appearance on RAW since the June 27th, 2011 show. It is likely that this won’t just be a one off appearance and he will make sporadic appearances leading into April 1st’s WrestleMania event.

Shawn’s appearance is likely so the WWE officials get him involved in The Undertaker vs. Triple H WrestleMania 28 match where HBK will act as the special guest referee. The idea being played up is that having Michaels involved as the official will make the odds of The Undertaker beating HHH again feel more slim, because of HBK’s past relationship with Triple H and because The Undertaker was the wrestler who retired him in the very same match years ago.

Expect more build up to The Undertaker and Triple H WrestleMania semi-final to have more build on this week’s RAW.

No this maybe true, there has certainly been rumours and pieces of news flying around about Shawn’s possible involvement in Triple H and Taker’s WrestleMania match should it happen (which I’m sure it will). We did hear these rumours last year, and nothing progressed. So is this year different? I personally hope so, as this will be the third time Triple H and Taker have fought at WrestleMania. They certainly need something to spice up the match. And I believe this will be the only way we will see Shawn back for a small period of time.

Just a small gallery update, I was hoping to add some more but they will have to wait as I’m having problems with them. The main bulk is classic Royal Rumble photos, courtesy of WWE.com that were posted during the Rumble week. I have also add scans from the 178 issue of the Power Slam Magazine, that covered Shawn and Taker’s WrestleMania 25 match. And lastly I would like to give a big thank you to Jackie! Who has kindly donated some excellent photos of Shawn, that she has taken from various events. She has been very kind and specific for the photos to be hosted on the site, which is the reason for me tagging them. I hope you enjoy the new batch of images, and I’ll try and upload more soon.

Well I can finally announce, that the Gallery has gone through a much needed make over. I think most of you knew as you were asking me where the gallery had gone, and when is it coming back. So after much anticipation and complicated coding here it is. So then that’s it for the old orange layout, the last remnants of it are dead and buried now as it were but it’ll be back in a new past themes section that will come soon. And the new Texas theme has taken a hold, apart from the Forum which is next on my list now. I hope you like the design of the gallery now, I now have a backlog of images that need uploading now :)

I’ve just read an interesting article on a site called Bleacher Report (the US’s 4th largest sports media site with 20 million monthly readers). I came across the article while browsing for fresh news on Shawn that hasn’t been mentioned on fansites yet. The article is by Chris Mueller AKA The Doctor (Featured Columnist), and he analyses the the possibilities of Shawn returning to the WWE along with the what ifs. He also looks over other wrestlers that have announced retirement, and yet still return to the squared circle.

Source: BleacherReport.com

Shawn Michaels is someone who is legendary in the wrestling business for his amazing performances and dedication to the sport.

Over his storied career he accomplished just about everything a wrestler could ever want to do. Since retiring Shawn has managed to stay out of the ring, which is something many former wrestlers have trouble doing.

Names like Mick Foley, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair and Terry Funk have repeatedly said they were retiring and ended up returning to the ring.

In the case of most wrestlers, they come back and look worse than when they left, but Shawn is still in great shape and could easily have more great matches.

The problem with this is that he promised everyone that when he said he was done, he meant it. Shawn might not want to go against his word, but would fans hold it against him if he returned?

I don’t think so.

Many fans were hoping to see HBK show up at Sunday’s Rumble or last night’s Raw. There were no real rumors of this happening, but people thought it might happen anyways.

With Shawn doing multiple endorsement deals, appearing at various conventions and shooting his TV show, he has plenty to keep him busy. But is the business he loved for over 20 years something he can stay away from?

I would not be shocked to see him return as a special ref or GM for a time at some point, but I firmly believe we will never see a full match with HBK again.

He is too committed to spending time with his family and exploring other ventures to consider coming back at this point, but the same has been said about The Rock—and he is returning at WrestleMania 28.

I hope Shawn has some kind of role at ‘Mania, possibly as the ref for the Undertaker match. But other than that I think we need to let the possibility of HBK returning for a match go.

I would love to see him return, but he needs to do what is best for him and his family at this point. What do you think, is there any chance of one last match from HBK?

Even though the result of this article is the same as what we already know, which is Shawn will not be returned it’s still a good read. I’m hoping actually to start writing up original articles for the site, either looking back at Shawn’s career or “What if” scenarios too.

Well I’m sure everyone was wondering the same question as I was leading up to the Royal Rumble, who is going to be #1? Well that question was answered this past week on Raw, when Miz lost to R-Truth in a loser enters #1 stipulation. And one superstar knows all that there is to know about surviving the other 29 participants from the #1 position, I’ll give you a clue Royal Rumble 1995 ;).

Shawn Michaels’ “Awesome” advice for The Miz

The Miz spends an inordinate amount of time telling the WWE Universe just how awesome he is. Fans might debate that point, but right now Miz can honestly claim that he’s No. 1 – though we have a feeling the Superstar isn’t too thrilled by this newfound “glory.” After his Monday night loss to former tag team partner R-Truth, The Awesome One was forced to come to terms with the fact that he’ll be the No. 1 entrant in this Sunday’s Royal Rumble Match.

But cheer up, Miz. WWE.com is here to help you out. And, really, who better to give advice on the subject than The Heartbreak Kid, WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels – the first-ever No. 1 entrant to outlast everyone else and win the 30-Superstar over-the-top rope contest?

“It never really looked like being No. 1 was not something you wanted to be,” Michaels said. “I recognize that you’ve got longer to go, and you’ve got to face everybody and endure to the end, but I saw that as a badge of honor.”

Royal Rumble 1995 marked the first time ever the match’s first two competitors – HBK and The British Bulldog – were also the final two competitors in the ring, giving hope to every Superstar unlucky enough to draw a low number. As with most things in life, Shawn saw his early entry not as a detriment, but as “a privilege to go in No. 1 and to see if you could endure to the end.”

Michaels wore that badge of honor proudly in January 1995, not only overcoming his early entrance, but also coming back from certain defeat to win the match. That match’s finish – in which Bulldog clotheslined HBK over the top rope – has become the stuff of legend. After the clothesline, the beloved Superstar started celebrating in the ring.

Imagine his surprise when, moments later, HBK delivered a double ax-handle, sending Bulldog sailing over the ropes. Confusion set in as the referee raised Michaels’ hand in victory, but as the replay would show, The Showstopper was able to grab onto the ropes and keep his left foot from touching the floor. It’s a moment that will live forever in WWE lore.

Getting to the end of the Royal Rumble Match takes a lot of work beforehand – a notion Michaels fully understood going in.

“At that point in my career,” he explained, “I was so into wanting to be a ‘WWE Iron Man’– the match a couple years later notwithstanding. I can remember at that time very vividly being a fan of Ric Flair. The protégé of going long distances and working hard for a long period of time … it’s what I wanted to be.”

The WWE Hall of Famer knew that a positive outlook, although important, wasn’t everything, especially in the grueling environment of the Royal Rumble Match. “I was never going to match guys from a standpoint of size or strength,” Michaels told WWE.com. “But I always felt that the longer I could go, I was going to neutralize whatever strengths they had.”

Displaying a flair for both philosophy and common sense, Michaels opined, “There’s an old saying that ‘fatigue makes cowards of us all.’ And, it may not make a coward of you, but it certainly makes a 300-pound guy a lot easier to maneuver and manipulate when he’s tired and just doing everything he can to keep up.

“I pride myself on the fact that there wasn’t anybody in the locker room that could last longer in the ring than me,” he added.

That was then; but what about this year’s Royal Rumble Match? What advice does The Heartbreak Kid have for its combatants – most specifically, for The Miz?

“In the Rumble, everybody is your potential friend and your potential enemy,” the WWE Hall of Famer said. “You make alliances that you wouldn’t normally make, and you stab anybody in the back that you want to stab in the back.”

Tough words, but also true. According to HBK, “[The Royal Rumble Match is] the epitome of every man for himself and being thrown in the shark tank – which is the thing that’s so phenomenal about it. You see alliances that you never thought you would, and at the same time you see some pretty serious betrayals that you didn’t see coming.”

Michaels acknowledged that, at the end of the night, “only one guy can be standing there …. Pride and all of those things get thrown out the window, and you do whatever you’ve got to do to win. Miz is a sleazy enough dude – that fits him – so I think that’s gonna be his strength.”

Miz’s “sliminess” aside, Michaels also recognizes something inherent in The Awesome One’s makeup that just might give him a built-in advantage over much of the WWE roster this Sunday. “You have to appreciate a guy that causes you to look at yourself and call into question those attributes that you want to pretend you don’t have. In desperate situations, we all have them to some degree.”
